Delete your account

You can delete your Pique account and the associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Pique and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Privacy.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or you cannot sign in, email hello@playpique.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". To help us identify your account, please include:
- The display name you used in Pique.
- The Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In email address you used to sign in (if any).
- An approximate date you created the account, if you remember.
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot match your request to an account, we will let you know what additional information would help.
What gets deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication user.
- Your profile (display name, avatar, owned packs).
- Your Daily Thread couple link and reveal records.
- Your Realtime Database user record.
- Local app data on devices where you sign out.
What may not be deleted immediately
- Active group-game rooms — if you are mid-game in a Roast / Open Book / Couples Journey room when you delete your account, that room's transient state may persist briefly until the scheduled cleanup job removes it (within ~2 hours of the room's creation).
- Purchase records — Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain purchase records as required for transaction history, refunds, fraud prevention, tax, and legal compliance. These records are held by those providers, not by Pique.
- Backups — short-lived database backups may contain a copy of your data for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
What about my purchases?
Deleting your Pique account does not refund past purchases. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (support.google.com/googleplay). Non-consumable packs you previously purchased on the same Apple ID / Google account remain available if you create a new Pique account on that same store account in the future.
